Opportunity
I was given the opportunity to create a Christmas card based on the theme of children's toys. Thinking back to my own childhood, I remembered a little metal wind-up robot I played with. That served as the inspiration for both the card and the box.
Process Overview
The Christmas card was designed on Adobe Illustrator and brought to life through screen printing. Multiple cards were printed on large sheets of paper and cut out by hand. The cardboard box was laser cut from of a sheet of cardboard, and the design was engraved using a laser cutter as well.
Overall, around 30 Christmas cards were produced. The cards were put into a Christmas card bundle and sold for charity.
